I just downloaded a game that is a ISO file
i was told to burn it to cd. I've tried to burn it on cd but nothing happens. Anyone no what to do? Thanks

It sounds to me like you're burning to a cd like a regular data file. You need to use the ISO as your image to burn to the disk. Somewhere in the burning process you should be able to choose an image file to burn from. That should do the trick.

i belive you need to assemble the files before burning them.

i do not have that knowledge so you will have to wait for someone that does.

im using click n burn and i did find the option
for iso files. i'll keep messing with it for a little while
what about isobuster? is that a good program to use?

I agree~! Unfortunately, you need to make sure that nero is compatible with your burner. I downloaded it and paid the $30 for it. I basically threw the money out the window because it didn't like my PC.

What I like to do first is use Isobuster. That reads iso or cue/bin files and allows you to extract them individually if you want. then you can test it before burning.

Daemon tools is another tool which allows you to virtually mount the iso or bin as if it was a cd.

Most popular burning tools are Nero, cdrwin, fireburner, and least of all, Roxio(formerly Adaptec) easy cd. Roxio tends to use iso; cdrwin cue/bin, and nero nrg (but does well with cue/bin or iso also). I seem to remember last year some programs can't read Roxio's 5.0 version iso's.

Remember - always read the nfo if it is there.

1a. Try and go a week without having to punch a wall in frustration after watching the Mets play
2. 90 Wins and somehow get the Mets into playoffs this year

3a.Have team understand it is OK to get a hit with runners on base.

I was young and naive back then. :-D I Didn't know the definition of FTP or shareware. Now, I have to find new sites to download/upload from. This goddamn websence is killing me. Any ideas? This could possibly be a new thread, but why make a new one to clutter the board?

No, not at the time. Every so often I'm looking for 3D studio shit and Maya stuff. Any programs that push my day along. I will let you know though.

I got it from a place far, far away.
But I discovered that two of the files were corrupted.

par files are a great invention. if you rar up files, and one or more is corrupt, par files will fix them if they were made along with the rar files
Smart Par info

For the last few months all decent releases contain not only rar files, but par files incase one or two are corrupt. Especially helpful on the usenet, where servers are sometimes to blame.

I have working photoshop, but no longer have the individual files. if you have ftp for me to upload it to, I'll break it back up.

Well I'm not sure my files are corrupt - I think they're just incomplete because they're noticeably smaller in size than the rest of the files. I'll still read up on the link you provided - you can never learn too much!
