| O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 00  | Can't name a link... This is what happens using UBB/Psuedo... I namned it "Write To Me Here" [url=http://www.snakepit.org/addr.html]Write To Me Here" target=new>Visit this Website On the bottom, in my sig, I tried to create the link using HTML. It says "Write To Me Here" but it doesnt display as a link. Other peoples links display as Visit This Website" if they don't designate a name.  Go Ahead, Give Me A Reason To Free Up Server Space! | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Jeff, I looked through the UBB FAQ and I still am confused. IS there any possible way to use UBB Code and still allow you to put in your own text that you want the link to be shown as. It seems that unless you use HTML the link has to say Visit this Website. Also, since you didnt link the faq directly, its at http://207.99.78.78/ubbcode.cfm. See? I tried four fucking times using UBB but it doesnt work. I had to use html. When I click the link it has a part for me to fill in the what I want to title the link but it still comes out fucked up when I post. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I thought the UBB faq was clear..you open and close the url within URL UBB codes. It then take that full URL and converts it to VISIT THIS WEBSITE. It's a temporary solution until I can sit down and really attack the problem. UNtil then, use HTML if you want to name the links. Try not to download too much. Steve can't afford it. | ||||
