Unfortunately it is unavoidable that the A's will triumph. People can come back from 2-0, but it won't happen in this case.

Here's why.

I'm from Boston. I LOATHE the Yankees. However since the events of 9/11, I've wanted the Yankees to win the series again. Many many people in Boston feel the same way.

Anything, minor as it may be, that could bring any joy to people in New York, is something that I want to happen.

So don't you see? It's hopeless for Yankee fans becuase Red Sox fans are pulling for you.

Teams that Boston fans want to win any championship can never win. It's worse than the Opie Curse.
