Man, I don't follow racing or anything like that. But I know that you have to be one shitty driver to run down your pit crew and crash into another car. Maybe he should go back down to the minor level whatever that league might be.

It wasn't Ward Burton's fault....the pits area is very tight and he was bumped into the crew guys....I remember 2 years ago when Andretti ran over his own pit crew guy...that was awful to see.

Then why comment. If you didnt see it how can you possibly comment on the crash and assess blame? Here is an explanation from www.nascar.com
quote:

The accident occurred during a
caution pit stop when multiple cars
were on pit road. Ward Burton left
his pit stall in the No. 22 Dodge and
was hit on the right side by Casey
Atwood in the No. 19 Dodge. As a
result, Burton's car shot back to the
left and careened into the three
crew members and one Winston
Cup official.

Still think he should go to the "minor" leagues?

Not anymore, Corinthia could have explained it a little more clearly, I didn't know that the guy behind him crashed into him.

I'm just baffled by the whole sport being popular.

It is the most popular spectator sport in the country, and I just can't grasp why.

I'm not going to mock the fans or bash the "sport", but I just can't fathom how so many people can get so interested in cars driving in a circle.

I've forced myself to watch a race when I'm around some big fans, and I'm still missing something.
