| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I agree about Clemens...he is a total piece of shit. He doesn't respect the uniform he plays in and only came to the Yankees looking for a ring. It is true that all players are looking for a ring, but anyone traded to the Yankees also feels an overwhelming respect for the uniform and the stadium they are now playing in. Clemens has showed no class (his behavior during the World Series was uncalled for) and no consideration for anyone but himself. They traded a true Yankee and got a true asshole....Boomer might not be considered one of the greatest pitchers of all times when his career is over, but at least when he took the mound at Yankee Stadium you knew he had a real love of the game...he also has to be one of the nicest people I have ever met. When he pitched at the Stadium last year, I waited outside after the game with a sign, and he came right over to me and signed my jersey and talked to me, he didn't act like he was better than me, even though I was crying and shaking like an idiot. But when Clemens walked out, he walked out head down and didn't even wave....nice way to treat your fans..... :( Can't wait to see Boomer when the White Sox come to play :)  My new daddy told me to run away, and my old daddy won't be my daddy until the DNA test results come back...someone please adopt me :) | ||||
