WOW! The Rangers win in Ottawa. Funny, I dont see a Spider Bob post with the Final Score and Game Report tonight?

Ottawa obviously took the night off and didnt come to play and the Rangers capitalized and finally stole a game from Ottawa they way Ottawa has stole game after game from the Rangers in the past couple of years. The Rangers actually finished 2-2 this year with Ottawa.

Now all I hope for on Monday is that Sandy McCarthy gets back at that pussy and ex Devil Oliwa and kicks the shit out of him.

Francine, if you noticed I did post the score and a thank you to the Rangers in the thread "thank you"(it got deleted) at the time of posting there was not a game report to paste. Sorry to dissapoint you. :)

OTTAWA (AP) -- A loss to the lowly New York Rangers can upset anyone, even the usually serene Wade Redden.

"We weren't playing well throughout the game but we were in a position to win it," the Ottawa defenseman said after Petr Nedved and Sandy McCarthy scored 1:12 apart midway through the third period to lift the Rangers to a 3-2 victory Saturday night over the Senators.

Ranger unity: Petr Nedved, left, hugs teammate Sandy McCarthy after the two scored rapid-fire goals in the third.

"We were lackadaisical and it cost us," Redden said.

Radek Dvorak also scored for New York (27-36-4-1), which stopped a four-game losing streak.

"We played hard and we got what we deserved," Rangers coach Ron Low said.

Rookie Martin Havlat scored twice for the Eastern Conference-leading Senators (39-18-8-3), who have lost only once in 10 previous games against the Rangers.

Nedved scored his 27th goal of the season, unassisted at 10:44 of the third period, capitalizing on a turnover by Ottawa defenseman Karel Rachunek.

"The chances of us making the playoffs are slim ... but there are still a lot of reasons for us to play hard," Nedved said.

McCarthy stunned the Senators by capping a 2-on-1 for the winning goal at 11:56.

New York owns the NHL's worst defensive and penalty-killing records, and had won only one of its previous eight games. Ottawa is 10-3-0-1 in its past 14.

"Statistics are not always right," said Ottawa's leading scorer Alexei Yashin, held without a point for the first time in nine games.

Dvorak, playing in his 255th consecutive game -- the NHL's third-longest streak -- opened the scoring on New York's fifth shot 6:31 into the contest.

He raced down the right boards and cut in to beat Ottawa goalie Mike Fountain, playing his 11th NHL game. It was Fountain's first start for Ottawa and his first in the league since 1997-98 with Carolina. He played in place of injured backup Jani Hurme.

Mark Messier assisted on Dvorak's goal, leaving him two points shy of tying Marcel Dionne for third on the NHL's career list (1,771).

Messier was serving holding and cross-checking minors for giving Havlat a rough ride in front of the New York net when the rookie replied at 13:09.

"I started something with him, but I didn't know it was Messier at the beginning," said Havlat, tied for fifth in rookie points entering the contest.

Havlat deflected defenseman Sami Salo's blue-line drive past goalie Guy Hebert.

"I think I have something like 269 wins to catch Mike Richter," said Hebert, who earned his first Rangers victory in place of the injured Richter and first anywhere in nearly a month. He was claimed off waivers this week from Anaheim.

Havlat wheeled out of the corner, beating New York defenseman Brian Leetch, and swept a backhand past Hebert to give the Senators a 2-1 advantage with his 14th goal of the season 6:36 into the second period.

Game notes
Saturday's sellout crowd of 18,500 was the Senators' eighth in their past 10 games and 13th of the season. Ottawa's regular-season finale against Toronto on April 7 also is sold out.

Unicron, if your going to waste time with a useless post, at least do some research and find out the point totals. And you being the Big Devil fan, you should know how many points your own team has right?

Devils- 87 Points
Rangers- 59 Points
Islanders- 44 Points

One more point and the Devils will have lapped the Islanders.

OK im writing this down.
Rangers and Islanders both suck.

Is that what you say?

Ok, Can I ask some other questions,
Are the Devils good?
Is Mario Lemieux Good?
Is the Nassau Coliseum a terrible place to play?

I need to know these answers. Hopefully you will enlighten us.
