Looks to be a good season coming up. With the strong draft and some free agent moves, I'd like to know who everyone is picking for the upcoming season.
Personally, I think the Rams are still going to be strong (obvious) but I think the NFC is becoming strong enough to knock the Rams off the top.

I predict it's too early to make any predictions:)

I predict a team from the AFC will face a team from the NFC at the Super Bowl in January.

Ill let you know in 2 months. We are still 3 weeks away from Training Camp and you want NFL Predictions? Well I guess at this rate, we should start NBA ad NHL predictions soon.

3 weeks? Thats like nothing... If you really know what you are talking about you would be able to make a prediction now with the full rosters, not 10 games into a season picking the superbowl.

Yeah, that explains all the NFL talk you hear right now. I cant believe ESPN doesnt have any football talk yet? Full Rosters set. Your right, why bother having training camps to compete for spots? Oh and 2 months from today would be September 2, which is a week before the NFL Season starts, not 10 weeks into the season, so try again.

Well, although I absolutely agree that it is WAY TOO early for this thread, I just want to give advice for future prognosticators: Pick two teams that sucked last year but finished strong. You can't go wrong based on recent history. I'll just take a stab and go:

Seahawks v. Browns, with the Brownies out on top. Don't ask me why, I literally just thought of that now. Hey, it's a more reliable a system than just picking two teams that look good on paper, cuz those teams never win in the NFL.

And, BTW, the Seahawks are in the NFC now, so don't call me stupid for making an AFC v. AFC matchup. I expect to be called stupid, just not for that.

2002 Crack Committee Objectives:
1. 94 Wins and the NL East title
2. Hate the Braves with a passion.
3. All 5 Starters have winning records this year
4. Mets win the World Series

I predict that neither the Steelers or the Colts will NOT make the playoffs. Reason? Because the Blazers squeaked into the playoffs, and only one of my teams (see also: Orioles) makes the playoffs any given year.

And before you ask: Colts and Orioles 'cause I grew up in DC. Steelers because I went to college in the 'burgh and it's required. Blazers 'cause I live here now.

You still root for the Colts, even after they moved in the middle of the night to Indy?

2002 Crack Committee Objectives: (modified version)(You gotta try and believe....)
1.Hate the Braves with PASSION and extreme prejudice
1a. Try and go a week without having to punch a wall in frustration after watching the Mets play
2. 90 Wins and somehow get the Mets into playoffs this year
3. All 5 Starters have winning records this year
3a.Have team understand it is OK to get a hit with runners on base.
4. Mets win World Series (after divine intervention)

.... none of the teams that won in the last few years inished strong the year before .... anyway, it is kind of true except just take all the teams that made the playoffs last year .... throw them out and then pick the winner from whats left ....

Sure. I can root for the Colts while hoping their owner gets hit by a bus.

I predict that the Jets and Giants will both suck, and that the Eagles fans will be more annoying than ever.

How's that for a stretch?

Whoring my way to a regular.
