The Avs just outplayed the Devs in the last 2(two!) games. They figured out how to break apart their offence and score on a Swiss cheese goalie. My hats off to 'em. Anyway, I don't know who to hate more: Pricks like Unic, who can't admit that their favorite team was just beaten by a better team, or bitter, jealous duche wads who can't admit that the Devs were the best team to play against the Avs for the Cup. It's not mine or any other NYR fan's fault that made the Devs the red headed step child of the greater New York area. Its like saying I lost a race to you but I can run faster. If they were a better team they would have played better the last 2 games. 1 problem is that Brodeur is not that good of a goalie. I used to think he was until I looked at the numbers. He is 22nd in the league in save percentage, below the league average. That stayed the same during the playoffs and went down some games. If NJ had someone better in net, they would be unstoppable. Their defense is great, Brodeur looks good because he tends not to have as many shots taken on him.
