Guys,

I know that a lot of you are Isles fans and Devils fans, and maybe there's even a few of you Ranger fans - Flyers fans, whatever...

I just thought you might want to know about a great site that will keep you up to date on the comings and goings of your favorite club in the off-season.

Why so great? It's run by a conglomerate of Canadian newspapers whose sports departments are stuffed to the gills with excellent hockey writers and reporters.

Here's the link, check it out for all the good inside stuff:

Visit this Website

There is a main hockey page of course, but you can also hit an NHL page, and your team's page. They seem to report things a little ahead of ESPN even.

Good site, Spork. I see, as expected, the Rangers are going after just about anyone with a pulse. They need it. LET'S GO RANGERS!!

You can always go to hockeytraderumors.com, which always provides some kind of trade information. I write for them, covering the Devils.

Now I subscribe to Hockeytraderumors and all, but what is the accuracy like on that site? I've noticed that it's a little less than it could be. Now granted, they're dealing in RUMORS so I can't expect too too much. At least this new site should give you guys another place to grab things from.

I do notice that in the Canadian papers, the two biggest rumor mongers are Tony Gallagher and Al Strachan. Eric Duhatshek (that's SO spelled wrong) writing out of Edmonton seems to be one of the more accurate guys, and also Al Morganti who apparently has a direct line to Bobby Clarke.

You can never be really accurate, it is just of what people hear and talk about, and what we see in the papers.

Definitely - fair enough - I guess what I would like to see is a reference to WHERE the rumor came from so I have a better feeling as to its validity, you know?

I would trust, say, Al Morganti more than Stan Fischler. I would trust John Davidson more than Al Strachan, and so on and so on...

I like to dish on trades as much as the next guy, like I say it would just be cool to see where the rumor came from, that's all.
