I'm surprised no one posted this yet but who do think deserves the MVP so far in the MLB.

My picks are:
AL: Alex Rodrigez (Even though I hate the greedy bitch, he is up there stat-wise.)
NL: Luis Gonzalez, when he catches up to Bonds, we might see a triple crown threat and a new run king.

Cy Young
AL: Clemens (As a Met fan I hate him, but he is smokin this year)
NL: Schilling (The guy almost had a perfect game, for christ sakes)

Rookie of Year:
AL: Ichiro, c'mon is there anyone even close
NL: Damn to be honest I don't know any notable rookies here, Is that guy on the Dodgers (DeLuca) a rookie?

That what I think.
How bout you.

WHAT????? They are in last place, who gives a shit about stats.

NL: Luis Gonzalez
AL: Ichiro Suzuki

Cy Young:

NL: Randy Johnson
AL: Roger Clemens

Edit: Ben Sheets is all I can come up with right now for NL Rookie of the Year, Obviously Ichiro is the AL winner.

How can Arod be MVP? The Rangers suck. Take him out of there and what they still suck. Big difference there. I know Andre Dawson won the MVP on the last place Cubs in 87 but I think that was the exception and not the rule.

AL MVP: Manny Ramirez - one of if not the reasons the Nomar-less Sox are contending.
NL MVP: Barry Bonds - the rest of the team isn't doing squat yet they are still in contention in a tight division. Without him they are in last.

AL Cy : Roger Clemens - just doing phenomenal this year and since Pedro is injured it goes to Roger right now
NL Cy : Curt Schilling - wasn't very good after the trade last year but has come on strong this year. Makes up for the Unit not being quite his dominant self.

AL Rookie: Ichiro Suzaki
NL Rookie: Albert Pujols - has been very very good for the Cardinals. Giving them offense while McGwire has been injured and silent and Jimmy Edmonds is quiet as hell

But there's also this: there are over 5,000 men in this city, who know that being a policeman is an endless, glamourless, thankless job that's gotta be done.

I know it, too, and I'm damn glad to be one of them."

AL MVP: Ichiro- he's putting up amazing numbers. without him where would seattle be?
NL MVP: Gonzalez- the Diamondbacks are in first place and he's one of the biggest reasons why.

NL Cy Young: Schilling- he's having a career year.

AL Rookie of the year: Ichiro- well yeah!
NL Rookie of the year: Pujols- he's putting up great numbers, and he's only 21 years old.
