If you ask me, I think GM Phillips will show him the door. He has a turbulent relationship with some players and in most cases the manager is to blame for downward spirals like the Mets are having. God could manage this team, they would still lose if Nobody can fuckin Hit the Ball. It isnt Bobby Valentine's fault that Todd Zeile has 6 Homeruns at the All Star Break. It isnt Bobby V's fault that the team is like 0 for 1000 with runners in scoring position. It isnt Bobby V's fault that no Regular on the team is hitting over. 275. It isn't Bobby V's fault that Steve Phillips couldnt improve the team during the offseason. It isnt Bobby V's fault that Fred Wilpoun refuses to pay players like Alex Rodriguez or Manny Ramirez. Lay off Bobby V, it isnt his fault at all!! The Reason the Mets are so shitty, is because they refused to pay any money to get another bat in this lineup that was so desperately needed, and the other reason is that they are one of the worst Hitting Teams ever to play the game. Notice I havent mentioned Pitching one bit here. Why? Because Pitching ain the fucking problem. The Pitching has been decent. Not Great. But Good Enough. But you cant win games, when your team scores shit for you.  | ||||

Sure Trachsel has been bad, but he has had some moments where he has been fine, but when the team scores 0 or 1 runs, you get losses. Trachsel is 2-10. He should be about 5-8 or something like that. He is bad, I agree and should have never come here. If the Mets still had Hampton and Jones they would still suck, because they Cant Hit for Shit!! Well maybe Hampton could. | ||||
