The old thread hasn't been brought up in a while, so I figured I'd start a new one. You can answer the question or post another question. There aren't any real rules.

Who are the only 4 players in the 90's to hit 2 Grand Slams in one game?

I dont know the answer, so i will post another question:

Which QB holds the Super Bowl record for best pass completion percentage in 1 game?

"I firmly believe that any man's finest hour - his greatest fulfillment to all he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out, in a good cause, and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious." -Vince Lombardi

"90% of baseball is mental, the other half is physical." - Yogi Berra

"There aint no odds against beating yourself no matter what the percentages are." - Rube Baker in Major League 2

Phil Simms

Between the inception of the Stanly Cup in 1893 to today in 2001, when was the only year the Stanly Cup was not awarded to a team and why?

I'll throw out an easier one:

Who was the last player to go 6-6 with 3 HRs in a game.

I know Fernando Tatis is one, and he did it it one inning.

Name the only player to win a batting title in three different decades.

Tatis is right, Baerga is not. Hint: One of them is a current Met.

Robin Ventura has to be one of them, and thank you for the hint, unless i am wrong of course

1919- Influenza Outbreak.

And I believe the last person to go 6 for 6 with 3 Homeruns is Edgardo Alfonzo.

I'd say either Ted Williams or Tony Gwynn.

Fonzie did it against Houston two seasons ago.

And I thought Ventura only hit the grandslams in back to back games during the double header.

I agree with JJ. I know he won it in 1980, He probably took one in the 70s too. And for the final one, if I remember correctly he won in 90 since I think they made a big deal out of him winning it again since he was getting up there in age and it was ten years after his .390 average.

Ventura is correct for the original question. 2 more to go.

Yea, I believe he has accomplished both feats. Oddly enough, I believe he is the only player ever to accomplish that one.

Who was the last player to accomplish an unassisted triple play?

That would be the Montreal AAA(Amature Athletic
Association) in 1893
EDIT: Actually they were the first by default, it
was originally supposed to be either the Ottawa
Capitals or Toronto’s Osgoode Hall team to get
their name inscribed but the Ottawa team refused
to play since they had already been deemed the
champions of 1892 so it never was awarded that
year.
