| O&A Board Regular Registered: Apr. 01  | Colorado Rockies pitcher Mike Hampton hit his 7th fuggin home run of the season today (more than most of his former Mets teammates :-() against the Chicago Cubs (game still in progress)... In the same game, Sammy Sosa has 3 homers so far.  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | HOMERUN RACE Mike Hampton 7 Todd Zeile 6 What a F'n Joke. And heres some more bad news. It looks like Hampton May Not Pitch at Shea Stadium in 2 weeks. It all depends on whether Manager Buddy Bell skips a starter on the day off next week or not. If the Rockies skip a starter with the day off and keep Hampton on 4 days rest. Then he will pitch Sunday August 19 against the Marlins which is the last game before the Mets series August 21-23 and he would miss the series. However if they do not skip the starter, then Hampton would pitch the First Game against the Mets on August 21. I want Hampton at Shea so we can Rock the bastard.  | ||||

If it was all in Colorado, I'd say it's not as big a deal because of the thin air, but if he's been doing it all around the league, then the Mets really blew it big time when they let him slip away. Philips is a great GM yea really he is... | O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Hampton's road Homeruns have come in Florida, Arizona, and now Chicago. So throw out the Coors Field Argument. But The Rockies suck even worse than the Mets and Hampton's ERA which by the way is the reason why he gets paid, (not to hit Homeruns) isnt very good. Have fun losing in Colorado for 7 years. | ||||
