O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	Uni, maybe the Sens but definetly not the pens. I don't see them getting by easily through any team especially NJ with all the scoring, and their lack of D. Again, the Devils haven't beat the Sens this year, but again they were injury fucked twice of those 3. Rangers Suck!

Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 01	devils are 1-2-1 against the pens this year. losing record to the senators as well and do not think that philly will be a push over. it will come down to who makes the better deals at the deadline to make there team better. but the devils are also a tough playoff team so it should be exciting hockey. any knowledgable devil fan on this board will know they will have a tough playoff road ahead of them. adopted by slackjaw

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00	Unicron, can you spell anything right? I would definetly consider the Devils the favorite to get to the Finals. I give Ottawa the best chance to knock them off. If Philadelphia gets everybody healthy and Cechmanek keeps it up the Flyers can make a run. Goaltending wins in the Playoffs, therefore I dont know how far Pittsburgh can go. If Kolzig gets hot, Washington can be a factor, but I wouldnt be too scared of them. The Devils chances of getting back to the Finals are good, but I think they will do what Dallas did last year. Win the Cup and then lose in the Finals.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	Again in two matches w/pitt and two with ottawa they had a ton of guys missing, and with phi, they didn't have Scott and Arnie early in the year. When everyone is healthy, the Devils will win unstoppably. Rangers Suck!

The following are 100% true facts that I have researched over some time. With these findings, I have no doubt that the Rangers have redefined the word "sucks" and have proven to the hockey world that their organization is nothing but a circus. Use the following for a nice verbal battle against a Ranger fan some time, because all of these are TRUE. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Number 10* Their team is named after the police "Rangers" of TEXAS. Their name has absolutely, positively nothing to do with New York. But the mere naming of a hockey team after 'police' is enough to make the top 10 alone. *Number 9* 70% of corporate America which dominates New York City has control of the Rangers game tickets (hence the reason they always sellout). The regular fans barely get a chance to see a game! *Number 8* In the rare exceptions when they make the playoffs, they have the NHL record for most 1st round defeats with 22! *Number 7* They also have the record for most times being swept in a playoff series with 10! (the Devils have never been swept in their entire existance.) *Number 6* The last 3 years, they've had the highest payroll in the NHL, including a league record 61 million dollar payroll in 2000, and couldn't even make the playoffs once! *Number 5* They hold the NHL record for longest Stanley Cup drought with 54 years (1940-1994). A very distant second is 15 years behind. The famous 1940 chant was born when they lost 3 straight playoff rounds to the Islanders. That's right, the ISLANDERS! *Number 4* In the last 58 years, the Rangers only have 3 division titles and 2 eastern conference titles in the "regular" season. (the Devils topped that in 3 of the last 4 years.) *Number 3* For 20 straight years, an NHL record, they failed to pass the 1st round of the playoffs (1951-1970), and just once in a 30 year span (1941-1970)! ( *Number 2* They have missed the playoffs more times than any other team in NHL history with 26 years, including a drought of 18 times out of only 23 years!
