both, actually...if you really think about it.

this just in!!

SoA.net has just announced that they no longer wish to harbor any WMBD (Weapons of MessageBoard Destruction) and have openly invited us to go in and help destroy thier arsenal. This is a great victory for our cause.

Is this whole thing implying that other messageboards have the ability to destroy this place? I'm ashamed of this notion.

the recent hacking incident... - 60FeetUnderWater - 02-02-2004

no. I merely imply (via satire) that a member from another board COULD ...maybe..POSSIBLY be the culprit...and that perhaps there are those on these other boards who may actually possess the knowledge of who they may be and such but ultimately decide to protect the evil-doers and shield them from the lightbeams that emanate from the YMB flashlight of justice.

I say that it's possible that a regular from another board could have targeted YMB for whatever reasons and decided to strike against it.

but really, in all honesty, I'm just trying to not work today and would rather start wacky zany threads that spoof the very serious nature and business of our government taking one scenario and parlaying it into a reason for acting out quite ignorantly and irresponsibly towards other nations/bodies of government...or in this satirical instance, other messageboards

Where does spazcentral.net or whatever it's called factor into this all?
