Apparantly someone out there decided in order to make kids more healthy, they figured they would play around with milk to make it "more fun" for them.
While this is a good idea, what they came up with seems both strange and disgusting to me. I'm not sure if I would drink it if I were a kid.
Bubbly Milk
The worst part are the three flavors it comes in: Vanilla Cappuccino, Brazilian Chocolate, & Chocolate Raspberry.
Who are these flavors catering to, kids or Yuppies? What's wrong with basic Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry?
What do you think of the idea and would you even try it out to see how it is? I'm not sure I would. The thought alone makes me want to :barf: .

Isn't Yoohoo carbonated?
I don't understand why we need to make food "fun" for kids. The idea of green and purple ketchup makes me want to puke. My son brought home green Hershey's syrup from grandma's. It's disgusting.
I see ads for paper plates that are in "fun animal shapes". What's the point of all this?
When we were kids, we had red (imagine that!) ketchup. We had white paper plates. Chocolate syrup was brown.
Why is there, all of a sudden, a need to make eating fun? There's a bazillion overweight kids. Do they really need to make eating more fun for them? How about monitoring what they eat? Eating more fruit and veggies? Less chips and cookies? That's a crazy idea.
All they need to do to get kids to eat healthier in school is stop serving soda. Only offer milk or juice. Why is that difficult?

Yeah, Hershey and Heinz are as interested in healthy diets for kids as Philip Morris is in smoking-related cancer.
It's just marketing. They're exploiting the fact that kids love bright colors, and that kids will think that something that tastes the same as the regular stuff but is a different color, is cool.
If you want to make fruit cool, it's already got the funky color, but you need to make it taste like chocolate. :grin2:

I thought the same exact thing when they first released the green ketchup. I know it's probably only food coloring, but the idea of it makes me sick.
As for the purple ketchup, I can say I never even heard about that one until now and am glad for that.
