As much as I'm defending that freak today, I don't really care for his music much either. I don't dislike it... but, out of the 500 or so CD's I've bought or burned over the years... none of them have any Prince songs on them.

I personally have been to all types of concerts. (Not just rap because I know one of you unfunny fucks would say it) and I must say he is one of the best performance artist out there. I went to a concert of his a few years ago and it rocked.
He was an innovative musician for the time but all hailings beyond that i just find to be over exagerated.
Never seen him live, so can't say anything about that.

I'll say he's at least smart for the party like its 1999 thing. Looking forward to the possibility to be old worthless and most importantly poor, he figured in 1999 this song would be all over the place again and he'd get all the royalties. Right?
I know I started December 31st 1998 with a plan to not hear that song for the entire year. Then some mother fucking radio station played it in June! Ack I forgot about the graduation effect. I'm such a failure.

I just saw that the other night and it was surprisingly good. I'm not saying he isn't a good guitarist, because he is, but I didn't think he'd pull that off as well as he did.
