Pride Integrity Guts. That's some feel good Nazi like term they came up with to ease the pain of enforcing "lawful" orders from their high command.
After all they're "just following orders" when they enforce unconstitutional laws or at least the excuse they give.

I have no problems with cops. I've never had any problems with the law and I think that cops are the bees knees.
You feel the need to make your job sound more important and interesting just shows me that you don't respect your job, yourself, or your future.

As for using the word Pig, that is like calling a white guy a Honkey. It has absolutely no effect, and is more likely to induce laughter. I'm from the new school more or less. I haven't been on the job long enough to brood resentment towards all of mankind yet. The best way to rile up a cop is to make fun of their specific assignment or position.
Park Police/Park Ranger are Squirrel Cops for example. Police in small towns hate Mayberry references. Call a motorcycle cop Ponch, etc.
