I found out about Eminem in 97, from the World Wide Wake Up Show, they played the version of "I just dont give a fuck" from the Eminem EP, which is the one he released himself and Dre redid. Its a much better version than the one on the LP. I was hooked, I thought he was a black guy when I first heard him, and I knew he was gonna blow up. Once I found out he was white, I wrote him off, I didnt think he had a chance. But his skill is too good to deny. I think most of the radio friendly shit he releases is garbage, his battle and come back songs are works of art and his introspective and honest songs make you respect him. All in all, hes one of the top 3 rappers out right now.
