Battlefield:Vietnam - Goatweed - 07-08-2004

so I snagged a copy of this game the other night, and I don't see why people are raving about this game. The only complaints I've read are about bugs in the game, but I have yet to come across any - but the gameplay itself really doesn't impress me at all.

I haven't played the multiplayer side yet, and I'm not sure i can (I've got a crack, I just haven't used it because I figured if I got comfortable with the solo play, I'd be used to the controls online so I wouldn't get ass-raped as much) but I would hope it's better than the standalone part.

Enemy Territory totally pwns this game IMO.

Is anyone else here playing this game & enjoying it?

It's because of games like this that makes me happy that I don't spend $$ on software (usually).

Eh, I spend enough time on my computer at work, I dont want to play games on it. Plus keyboard and mouse controls suck.

Agreed, PS2 controls rock.

Multiplayer is where it is at.

Then try the...

Saitek P3000 wireless gamepad. It's completely configurable, and pretty closely resembles the Playstation 2 gamepad (the only real difference is that the P3000 only has two shoulder buttons). It has the D-pad, two analog sticks that can act as your mouse controls, and six main buttons.
