FU to Emotionally Unstable Idiots. - Opus - 09-19-2004
Customer (who shall remain anomymous other than be referred to as stupid bitch) brings her computer in to be fixed on the 6th. It is an Apple G5 desktop computer. Typical turn around time can be 3-4 weeks as it is in warranty and Apple has to dispatch a technician to do the repair. She is informed of this and signs the check in sheet which states this. (she is also given a copy of it)
On the 10th she calls and bitches about how long the repair is taking. We again explain to her the typical turn around time of 3 to 4 weeks. She seems to have understood it this time. WRONG.
She calls 4 times the 11th, 5 on the 12th (left messages on my voice mail as I don't work weekends) and finally we tell her on Monday the 13th not to call anymore, we would call her when it is done.
We get it expidited by pulling in a few favors and get the part necessary and the technician in the store to do the repair on the 15th. Mind you, we get this turned around in 9 days. Not 20-30 days.
She comes in that evening to pick the machine up and notices a very, very tiny scuff in one of the corners. Something that will wipe away with a wet cloth.
She bursts into tears and verbally abuses me for a full 10 minutes complaining about how her computer is now a piece of shit and she will be calling apple and will be calling my manager and I will lose my job and the technician will never work again.
I SOOOOO wanted to slap the ever loving fuck out of her, but I bit my lip, smiled the whole time, and even carried her computer to her car for her as she continued to berate me about this scuff.
I hate idiots.
