Now, the question is, how many of that number is fake breasts, etc?

A new report claims women were in much better shape 50 years ago than their descendants today, despite the modern obsession with dieting and working out.

Women in 1953 burned off at least twice the calories - more than 1,000 a day, according to the study by Prima, a top women's magazine in Britain.

The women of yesteryear kept trim by washing, cooking, ironing and cleaning without the help of state-of-the-art appliances, Prima says.

Apparently, according to an article on Page 3 of today's Post, women 50 years ago were fitter than today's women due to all of the housework. So, the reason that the average bra is bigger is because women today are fatter and boobs are mostly fatty tissue. QED
