I got my house 4 years ago (my mom co-signed because of a high debt to income ratio), but I refinanced in a year and got her off the papers. There's all sorts of programs out there...don't write the idea off completely. You never know.

Mrs. Header is positioning herself to start school to become an lpn. Then she'll be making more than me. Because I suck. Not to live the Office Space scenario I've considered accepting the situation and moving to a field that could essentially pay more but doesn't involve a desk. Manual labor and whatnot. Lord knows I need the exercise.

My wife stays at home with our son and works at night for a temp agency when there is work which there is none right now. We've been waiting to move this past month before we reassess the whole deal and look at what we are going to do jobwise.

And I figure we will wait a few years before we look into houses because she'll be done with school then.
