Ok, guys... weirdest shit ever. Years, no problems with my mp3s... some months back, the player randomly gets to Yellow Submarine... and after about 45 seconds, it hits me,... "Hey, THERES NO WORDS!" I remember this song having words! I click around to test some other songs... they all work, then I notice that Eleanor Rigby is also playing weird. The opening "Aaaah, look at all the lonely people" lines are fine, then "Eleanor Ri--" drops off to nothing, then its just music until we get to the chorus again. WEIRD.
I found about a month ago that everything was back to normal, and then today, again its screwy. If I turn up the volume really high I can still kinda make out the words at a whisper... more weird. No other songs are affected,... I tried converting them to wav's just to see what happened, and no change. HOW is this possible? And moreover, what can I do? Anyone have this happen? A virus that attacks Beatles songs? :
