XP is the most stable Operating System to date.
How you can say that XP sucks is beyond me. You can switch to classic mode if you don't enjoy the new look.

Me was a joke. Waste of time and money. Simple enough.

98 was good. Should not have been a whole new operating system. It was an update to 95.

come to think of it, you are right.. ME was just an interim for 98.. kinda like the 14.4 modem.

ME sucks. The only reason I downgraded to it from XP is because I restored my computer and it came with ME. I might just put 98 on it then I'll be happy.

I got an old 'puter the other day and I am smiling and styling playing Privateer. You can't play that game on any of your fancy Windows. No. You have to use DOS.

gee our old Lasalle ran great,

I got tired of dealing with the agrivation and made him bring it in to be serviced. Let them deal with this nonsense. I got other things to do. Thanks for your responses. I'm punching out.

So, does that mean you did an upgrade over a pre-installed version of Millenium? Or did you format the drive first before installing XP? That could've been a factor why XP may have been giving you issues.
