I got mice out of my sisters apartment once years ago, didn't have to kill them or nothin' just waited until they came out one by one (there were two of them) and trapped them. One walked right out in the middle of the living room floor - I threw a cardboard box on top of the little fucker. The same pretty much went for the other one, eventually we dumped them in a field down the road. Probably where they came from anyway.

I killed a mouse last night. I'm really not a violent person by nature, although there was that one time I broke my hand on somebody's face, but I digress. The little fucker was running around, and it was either smack him with the magazine (which I was holding in a effort to corner him and get him into the paper bag I had in the other hand) or let him get away. Oh, and just for the record, he got away the other day despite my best efforts of chasing him around the kitchen in an effort to get him outside. So, I smacked him and I think I stunned him pretty good. But, he wasn't dead yet. I got scared that he'd escape, and it was also rather disturbing to see his little legs moving while the rest of him was still, so I smacked him again. He died.

BUT. he has friends. Can anyone tell me which traps work best? I don't like of any of them, but I also don't like the idea of mice in my house.

So, anyone else got anything to confess?

I know this went to 4 pages. Who the F knows where it ended up.

Irrelevant - get a cat. My dilemma's a little different. The slut of a barncat keeps getting knocked up. This winter that just passed one kitten was found frozen, one "took a trip". The little whore's in heat again. No issues with mice but the cats are flipping vicious. They attack small children with food and are 4-legged flea infestations. The furbags race into the house if you're not quick enough with the door.........then I spend half a damn hour chasing them through the house to get them out.

Catch 22 I suppose, but I'd still trade you 10 mice for one nasty barncat.
