Queens of the Stone Age Bassist throws in the towel.
Nick Oliveri, a longstanding member of Queens of the Stone Age recently announced his departure from the band, and musician in crime, Josh Homme.
Homme and Oliveri, who's friendship dates back to the early 90's, where they recieved praise for their efforts in the stoner-rock band Kyuss have finally broke off all musical ties with one another.

they were overrated anyway... I hope the rest of the band takes the Lynard Skynard airplane ride of doom.

now now don't get your panties in a twist here... I never said that, I just simply said Queens of the Stone Age is overrated. There's plenty of good music out there but I'll give you a hint if they play it on K-rock or on Mtv... it's not good!

Yeah um........QOTSA had i believe 2 albums prior to the first album that they ever had a single on with and even that was short lived.
They're not overrated, and theyre not underrated. Maybe if you shut off LickCock and bought one of their cds you'd realize this.

I heard it was cause of "creative differences" and that Josh was taking the song writing into a dirrection that Nick didnt wanna go in.

Does everything you post come directly out your ass?
I first heard them back in 99' I picked up the album R when it came out and I think they improved much with Songs for the Deaf mainly because they replaced their old hack of a drummer with Dave Grohl. I own the 2 last albums. And yes they are OVERRATED!!!
