Stalkers......

That's nice and all........but i wasn't talking about a "Board Stalker". I was talking about the kind that stalk you in real life.

if you know where someone lives but you haven't been introduced to that person yet...you might be a stalker.

if you put someones phone number on your speed dial and that person doesn't even KNOW that you have their phone number...you might be a stalker.

if you INSIST on picking up your date on every first date you go on...you might be a stalker.

(Jeff Foxworthy fans...forgive me.)

oooooooops i totally misread an earlier post of yours....im tired and it seems to have been clouding my judgement

and i think if someone follows you around, knows your schedule, watches you from the bushes...and all of these things arent welcome...then theyre a stalker

I had a psycho ex-boyfriend who was a stalker. He didn't trust me and would have me followed when I went out without him. And he stole all of my passwords and checked my email and voicemail without my knowledge.

I had a stalker once, it was not pretty. I qualified him as a stalker for the following reasons:

1. I broke up with him yet he continued to call me and show up when he wasn't wanted.

2. He broke into my apartment and got the phone number of the new guy I saw seeing, and tracked me down 2 states away.

3. He showed up outside of my classes (this was in college) to tell me he loved me or hated me - depended on his mood.

4. He showed up at my apt with a knife, ready to kill me and my new bf. Now, that sounds rather dramatic, but he was harmless, and he wouldn't have hurt a fly, but he was still a stalker.

And this doesn't qualify him as a stalker, it just simply made him annoying as hell - he used to call me in the middle of the night, drunk off his ass and making a complete ass out of himself.

Eventually, college ended, I moved, and he no longer knew how to get in touch with me, which was a major relief as the above stuff had gone on for months.

You considered that to be "harmless" actions? Sounds like the guy was a ticking time bomb. :o

Hmmm. . .

I've heard that when Kevin Smith was younger, he would follow around his girlfriend and try to see how close he could get to them without her knowing he was there. She would come home and find Post-Its with the bat signal drawn on them all over the place.

I was a little insane back in high school - I thought this girl I knew was a telepath. I guess I stalked her. I dunno - it was some time ago and I was a completly different person. Looking back it's kind of freaky, but at the time I guess I considered it totally normal, and fun.

I no longer believe people are telepaths.
