i completely disagree. i think many people buy sirius or xm just for stern or opie and anthony, with the other content as a bonus. they are the 'killer app', so to speak.

i bought my XM because of the reggaeton channel

I don't see have your average comsumer is thinking Opie and Anthony when they think XM. Any XM commercial out there doesn't pump the fact that Opie and Anthony are on.

O and A are just one show, the things about XM I like are being able to listen to baseball broadcasts from every team in baseball, hockey playoffs, got a channel for NYC weather and traffic, their four dance/electro channels (XM Chill, BPM, The System, the Move,) Joe Frank on Sonic Theater, and of course Ron and Fez. My friend has his Siruis unit, for his car, man, what a piece of shit. only tells you the channel, and then has to scroll in order to tell you the song playing. I got the SkyFi, I get a nice display, tells me what channel, what's on, the time, singal strength, and I can program which stocks or sports teams I want scrolling updates on, and I just got the boom box for home and the beach. All Sirius seems to have is Howard and Eminem's favorite playlist. I'll pass.

suit yourself. i love my sirius radio. its got a nice display and it tells me the channel, song, the artists favorite color, and their favorite hobbies.

plus i prefer stern to opie and anthony, just a personal preference, so that pretty much seals the deal for me. i also like their indie station 'left of center' and espn radio, but thats just a bonus. they also happen to have weather, traffic and football.

now i really dont need an XM radio considering i will get to hear 3 hours of O&A for free.

with my XM, I get to have lunch with Ron and Fez, and then go to sleep to them.

That's the best thing about XM.

i got a hookup on the xmradio.com website, so i can listen to them online whenever i want, or download torrents to take them on the road.
