Quote:Sure, now your going to piss the twat off.
thanks grampa! i'm not pissed, i can't wait for all out war, it's coming, just sit back and wait!!
Shame on you CT. I know Arafat's a bad guy and all but all out war?

Seeing as this is a serious thread allow me to paint a picture. For the record, yes Israel is our friend and we stand behind our friends. That being said:

The Palestinians are a people, with no country, that are herded into ghettos under horrid living conditions. They are persecuted for their religious beliefs, looked down upon because of their ancestry, are limited to their freedom of movement, not allowed to start certain businesses and not allowed to accumulate massive wealth. There ghettos are invaded at will by uniformed soldiers that brake into their homes in the middle of the night, if they appear to pose a threat they are shot and their homes are bulldozed.

Ding ding ding, does this ring a fucking bell to any certain society that might live very close to these people??? Hello????

The last society that treated a civilization this way was eradicated from the world scene and is shunned by name to this day. Don't let history repeat itself. Find a moderate position to solve this before people never name their children Ariel again.
oas, in all seriousness, this current war broke out, while the palestinians were under palestinian control. they've been under the control of arafat since 1995, not the israelis. they blame this current war on the sharon gov't, but barak was pm when they began the fighting, not sharon.
for the last 2 weeks, the israelis ar being attacked from lebenon by hizbullah millitants. no other country has been attacked as mush as israel has, and in only 54 years. this is not a war of "occupation" they could've had a state 2 years ago. they are no different than hitler was, and in fact, the mufti of jerusalem durring the 1930's met up with hitler many times durring ww2.
Cunt (God I just love saying that, hee hee...) I know it is complicated and both sides are equaly guilty. Israel is the democracy, the supposed voice of reason in the region. The Arabs have offered the olive branch. They may be lying but if Israel takes the first step and eventually the Arab's prove to the world they lied, just think how powerfull that will make Israel.

All the Palestinians want is freedom. The PLO was never in control of the palestinians. The PLO was only allowed to do what Israel has allowed them to do. Israel will not win in world opinion on this one. They will crush the Palestinians for now. They will only rise again meaner and more deadlier next time. Give them their freedom. Freedom, is it all that bad?

Believe me. I am not pro Palestinian and my political views naturaly align me with Israel. This is one Israel will not win.

Can I still call you Cunt or Twat? :toast:
OAS, you are so right. They cry about the Holocaust, but look at what they do toy the Palestinians. The Palestinians had there land taken away, by the United Nations and given to Israel, because it was once there. Guys you lost your land, deal with it.

Menachem Begin was a terrorist against the British, what makes him any different than the palestinians of today??:firebounce: :firebounce: :firebounce:
Quote:Give them their freedom. Freedom, is it all that bad?
Anyone else hear the Freedom song, by Richie Havens, from Woodstock in their head? :fuggin:
Or Mel Gibson in Braveheart. FREEEEEEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i must disagree, where it might be true that the arab states have "extended" the olive branch, they are asking israel to go back to indefensible boarders. it is a fact that was taken up many times in the un, that the pre-67 boarders did not work for israels security. that is hardly peace. and sirya has yet to agree to that.
the palesitinian authority did rule over the palestinian people since 1995, not the israeli govt. in fact the palestinians were free to go where ever they damn well pleased until oct 2000. that is a fact that i personally can attest to, becuase i lived there for 2 years years (1997-1999).

here's an article, that i think can sum things up, nice.

oas, do you think the palestinian people will really be "free" in a palestinian state? they would be just as free as all the other arab people. if arafat wanted his people to be free, it would have been arranged. maybe you can answer me this, why is it that the palestinians living in jordan, iraq, saudi arabia, syria, and lebanon treated like the shits of society, and not given rights in those countries? when america won california, texas, new mexico and arizona from the mexicans, we didn't treat them like shit. we continue to aid mexicans in this country today. why is that the arabs can't help out their arab brothers, except in the distruction of israel?
