i actually hate campy movies for the most part like evil dead, pretty much anything bruce campbell is in i will not watch.

i shut beerfest off about 30 minutes in.

unless im bored out of my skull, i really don't like intentionally stupid funny movies with a few exceptions like zoolander, anchorman, and some chris farley movies.

i absolutely loathe monty python and the geeky college kids that think its the greatest thing ever.
Quote:Sin City - so fucking stupid, and I hate anyone who doesn't agree. I understand it was supposed to be a live action comic book and horribly acted with stupid coloring. If that's what they were gunning for, then great. It was still horrible.

I am not a fan of Sin City. I watched, and was bored as hell. It feels like half the movie is slowed down for dramatic effect, and then quickly sped up just to give the "surprising" or "violent" scenes more impact. There's that one Bruce Willis line that they start and end his vignette with, and it's just too corny. Then that shit with Clive Owen, and Rosario Dawson, standing on top of a building looking down as a bunch while what looks like the fucking Pussycat Dolls mows down the entire police force in slow motion. Then she spits out some gay "poetic" mini speech, about revenge or some shit, and starts tonguing Clive Owen, just lame.

And I'm not thinking that The 300 will be good, from what I see, it's all pretty pictures and latent homosexuality. I watched 300 of The 300, and the Persians come wearing fucking Kabuki masks, and then bring out some Voltron-sized Golum.
i liked how sin city looked, the plot was cheesy but i thought it fit into the comic book theme.
Basically, a lame comic book.

If they're gonna make a movie on a graphic novel, make Maus. That would be so disturbing.
best spader movie was less than zero.
Any Chris Farley or David Spade movie is crappy to me.

that actually gave me & danielle the biggest unintentional laugh of the whole movie. it was all quiet in the theater & as soon as we saw that we just bursted with laughter. i did like the movie the first time i saw it. i thought that it was a great idea. but since seeing it in the theatre i've only been able to sit through marv's part of the movie. only cause i'm such a huge fan of mickey rourke. i really haven't watched the movie since.
Tommy Boy is an all-time great.
that is one little thing on the diminishing list of things we agree on
Hey, just because Snaps handed you your lunch, don't get all snippy.
children of men was alright, a little convoluted
