#3 at least seagals older films have some story to them and some rather interesting characters. Out for Justice has William Forsythe and was an overall good film, probably Seagals best. Under Siege was another good one, with actual plot, plus tommy lee jones. Bruce Lee films are, blah blah waaah I can fight but choose not to because I made a promise. Ok now I show up and everyone needs me to fight and I will.... BUT I CANT!!! sob sob, chink chink gook gook talk, homo erotic scenes with a bunch of guys. 3. Youre taking his films out of context. By todays standards, yeah, theyre garbage, but you have to view them for what they are. They started everything martial arts. Sunday Kung Fu theater, wu tang clan, Chuck Norris, Jackie Chan, The Last Dragon, and They Still Call Me Bruce to name a few.

There are so many classics that are much better than any bruce lee film, with actual stories, mainly the jap films. Shogun Assassin, Lady Snowblood, now those are martial arts films, keyword is film, not just a 10 minute story stretched out for 90. If bruce hadnt come around someone else would have eventually, he just lucked out in the sense that he was the one who came along at the right time, there was no shortage of little yellow guys who could kick. He has become some god today, invincible and infallible but thats bullshit, at least people like norris, chiba, and van cliff actually competed, pussy lee had a bad back, boo hoo.

He demonstrated his dominance on several occasions. You really think that he would have the respect and admiration he does if it wasnt warranted? Find me one martial artist that is willing to talk shit on Bruce Lee. Im talking from a skill standpoint.

And youre also nuts if you think the martial arts movement would have gotten as large as it did without him. It may have had a following in the 60s and 70s, but it absolutely EXPLODED after 1973. Tell me Gonz, what happened that year?
