I have no excuses nor apologies. I love that movie and even though Charlie Sheen and Emelio Estevez are somewhere in the top 20 of the most unintimidating list, it was billed as a comedy it was funny so so friggin what?

That movie made Keith David into the star that he is today.

From what I have gathered, legal options are being explored and seem to be very likely. One plaintiff's attorney that specialized in privacy laws and civil litigation said he could sue multiple people in this process, including XM for not safeguarding personal private information. He can go for damages even if he is not damage in the current time frame, which i did not think was possible. He used the terms malicious intent to harm and a few other things.

A privacy advocacy group has also been notified of the situation and due to the notriety of one person involved wants to get involved in the issue as well.
Doug seems to want to take this up a notch and is making all attempts from multiple directions.

doug changed his phone number and had to notify all three credit agencies to halt any activity in-case some asshole really wanted to cause harm.

I find it funny b/c I always hated the general doug and his merry clan of pest, but now would help him in anyway to stoke the fire.

We shall see and I shall sit back and enjoy and provoke in any way possible.

Ok, well, this is all well and good, but, with it sounding like a pretty good legal case, how might it actually affect the Opie and Anthony show? Like, worse case, Anthony is found guilty of some shit, what could possibly happen to him?

No idea if it could go to that level, it could disapeer or wreak havoc, only time will tell.

maybe, but that would mean a one party was willing to just drop it, and because of the massive ego's and self pride invovled, I don't see it happening.

If doug really does push it, he could become disruptive, but to what extreme who knows.

I doubt it will have an effect on the show, if anything comes of it, he will probably just settle anything before it becomes a huge deal just to avoid any headaches but it shouldnt go beyond that.

In you opinion, do you think his job is in jeopardy for letting loose the ssn ? I mean, that's the only logical way FBP knows his data, I highly doubt that her or her boyfriend are elite hackers who steal pest info.

that's probably the biggest problem. how do you prove ant gave her the info?? i'm sure there's lots of people that have access to those forms and i don't think the forms are for XM but for steve and his stupid site so that they can put any pictures of you on the net.

Doug has a PM from frenchy to silera, when asked why did you post that, she responded, Anthony gave it to me and told me to. Who knows if the crack whore is lying, but if it goes where i hope, data mining would take place during a discovery phase and all that would play out. Fuckin plaintiff's attorney's working on a pure contingent basis are vultures.

I think they should subpeona both .NET & FTB board owners & admin/moderation "staff", force them to forward a copy of their DBs to both prosecution & secret Internets police-ez, and henceforth issue a freeze of both boards' functioning & any ancilary online activities until this whole thing can get in front of a jury & judge.
