The test that OAS put up is not an actual Myers-Briggs test. It's a knockoff. The questions are very vague and confusing (even more than they normally are), and the test is about 1/4 as long as the normal tests. As subjective as the test results are anyway, that test is not going to be anywhere near accurate.

I didn't go and register for the one that Keyser put up, so I have no opinion on that one.

OAS, at your age you should realize that these tests often change over time. My current S may easily turn to an N as I grow in both a personal and a professional sense.

Besides, with what I've accomplished in my short time in the professional world, I hardly think I have anything to worry about. Furthermore, I always have my skills in the blue-collar world to fall back on.

And Kid is right that these tests can be very clouded simply because they rely on you to rate yourself. For instance, many people may say they are extroverted becuase they think that means they are well-like and popular, when in reality they are uncomfortable with being in large groups. It's based on your perceptions of yourself and not reality.

Also, every one of the 16 options is a very positive great person.

Kid one thing I know after mastering this theory for the last 10 years is that changes are minimal in a persons personality traits. You can achieve different results on any given day but the pattern remains constant. Add to that a comparison with William Moulton Marston's four dimensional model where you divide behavior into four dimensions, Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness and you will find people seldom if ever change.

My Marston's axis puts me as a Hi-DI.

OAS, people do not change in a major way. However, people do grow in both intelligence and compassion (hopefully) as they get older. There is a large difference between intelligence and wisdom. Even your OLD, DUMB ass should be able to grasp that.

I took an "official" Myers-Briggs test about 7 years ago, and the result was an INTP personality. I just took the one OAS linked to, and once again, I'm INTP.

The personality description compares me with Howard Roark. I think that's sweet.

Very true Mr. Galt. The actual tests are quite pricey and lengthy. This is a quicky and freebie that is fairly consistant in results, allthough not 100% accurate. I have had people take this on the fly and have compared them with the MBTI tests and more often than not they are the same results.
