Well... not really, unless you don't consider it dead until someone finishes reading Galt's post, in which case yes, you'd be on the second page before it's dead, but I like to think of it more as there are no living or life-giving posts on the second page. :-( Thank you, come again.
Galt, I hope you drown in a vat of chocolate.
I always wondered how people drown. Does anyone here really not know how to swim? What's it like?

What about being stranded on the ocean, that would be a long painful death. Do you think the hunger pains would keep you awake? Or maybe the hallucinations would be fun?
If you're stranded in the ocean w/o fresh water, you're fucked. You may have to resort to drinking your own piss.
Two kids I went to high school with drown when their Boston Whaler flipped over one night on a trip from Martha's Vineyard to the mainland.

The girl who was with them and survived (they gave her a seat cushion that gave her a little boyancy) said that they just got tired and went under after about 7 hours. No big struggle, just exhausted and went under.
I thought modern day whalers were designed to still float even after they flipped.... why couldn't they just hang on to the boat?

What's the difference between Simon LeBon and Ivory Soap?
I can tell already the punchline is gonna suck.
The boat was still floating after it capsized. They were stupid and drunk, and only a few miles off shore, so they figured they'd just swim home instead of waiting in the ocean overnight for someone to pick them up.

The girl got picked up, one of the kids actually made it to shore, but it was three days later, he'd gained 100 pounds, and fish had been eating him. But for a dead guy, he was impressively spry enough to make it to shore after three days.
