You might be white, but you'd be poor....some of my friends were English majors....a lot of them wait tables.
For me, 29 was a horrible year. It was (obviously) the end of my 20s, and that hit me really hard. Turning 30 was a piece of cake...it was like a new beginning. I'll stick with 30.

Heheee...I went thru the same thing when I turned 29. That was my most depressing birthday. Once I got into the 30's it was a breeze and a relief.

So this starts when???
Maybe it's different for boys.
I found turning 20 to be really hard. Like half way thru the 19th year I realized, wow this is a step up. 21 wasn't as big a deal. 25 felt important, but turned out to be just another year.

I miss the big deal that birthdays were as a kid. More the party & the recognition, than the presents. Altough I wouldn't turn them down.

:-(
The 30's are a great age era.
When you are in your 20's you are either just starting working or your still going to college, trying to figure out what you want to do with your life. You really don't have much life experience yet. By the time you get into your 30's you know what you want to do. You know what you like and what you will not tolerate. Things get a little more even-keeled. :thumbs-up:
Luna, stop convincing me that I should be happy about being 35 :disappointed:
One of my friends is 33, he's in the middle of a mid-life crisis....30 doesn't seem fun. :-(

Maybe it is different for guys then. :clueless:
You never look back and think about what you could have/should have done? :crackhead:

Uh oh...I'm supposed to know by now? :crackhead:

This is very true.

Of course, that's part of life. But you can't live life by "could've, should've, would've" -- you'll drive yourself crazy. It's all part of learning.
I would go back to the time when I was 22. Ahhhh....memories....
