Well, if you have been listening closely, ESPN was reporting this all day, but now also says there is a report Devil Rays & Mariners have agreed on compensation.
Stick Michael was on with Michael Kay earlier today, and it was a great interview. What was interesting was that he seemed that he was truly interested, and George said no. The reason he was interested was the Challenge/Legacy of being the one to break the Curse.
Remember Michael has one more year on his contract. Imagine if you will it is November 2003 and Lou Pinella, manager of NY Mets calling his good buddy Stick Michael and asks him if he would like to fill the newly vacated position of General Manager of the NY Mets.
Will it happen? probably not, but a guy could dream........ :thumbs-up:
