Man can claim credit for the structure of a religion, but since religion itself stems from the divine, and invention is a cause, NOT an effect, man cannot claim credit for the actual invention of religion UNLESS he can claim credit for the divine as well.
Which begs the question, did God create Man, or did Man create God?

The guillotine was invented by a doctor as a more

Actually, I think religion Is an excuse for all of mans problems. They blame It for everything from famine to extra-marital affairs. People cant own up to their pathetic failures, so they need an excuse to take the guilt away.
