I have absolutely no talent what-so-ever....

I have alot of friends that are in bands and play and Ive only learned bits and peices through them. My claim to fame is I can play "Talk Dirty To Me" by Poison on guitar....thats about it. I really wanna learn how to play bass though....
Other than that I used to host kareoki with my friend and apparently people actually say I can sing.Every once in awhile I used to sing a few songs with my friends' band when they had gigs and shit.

i'll teach ya :-)

this guy who teaches guitar and bass once told me i have a lot of potential, but i think he was just trying to get laid...
did it work? ;-)
I used to play violin and viola up until 5th grade. I just fell out of it and I forgot how to play now. I'm trying to learn guitar now but I'm really lazy. I guess I should pick up a good acoustic as well but I'm not in the mood to put down several hundred for a good acoustic guitar.
I took piano lessons from 1st grade til 4th grade, and did okay I guess. I was too shy to perform at any recitals though and begged my parents to let me quit. I can still play sort of, but haven't in years.

Oh, and in 4th grade they made us pick an instrument to learn. I wanted flute, but I got trumpet. Never did well with that.

I'd love to play guitar, but it's hard to find someone to teach a lefty.
i play guitar. i have a crappy ovation that i use for travel. i have an expensive martin 410ce that i rarely take out of the case because it is so awesome i refuse to even get fingerprints on it.
last but not least, i have a fender 1957 americana stratocaster in daffney blue. it is everything i hold holy in this world. i can play them all.

Sure....sounds good to me.

Are you offering to teach me cause you just wanna get laid ???
Things went sour in my efforts to by myself a new guitar, but I picked up a decent mandolin this weekend. It's a Washburn and retails at about $400 but I picked it up for $100. Sounds good and although the fingering is a little tighter than guitar and the chords are structured differently, it's not that hard to play. If I can find someone locally that gives lessons in it, I'll definitely go.
i own a '57 fender stratocaster in daffney blue
an ovation 12 string acoustic
a martin 410ce
all of which i can play like the dickens. i used to give lessons when i was in college.
thanks for reconfiming the guitars you own
take it easy , little man. dont want you to get all upset right before nap time.
Is there room for a mandolin in an emo band or should I quit and try my hand at a solo career?

the title of jacks book about his sex life.
I would go solo - then you wouldn't have to deal with creative differences within the band :thumbs-up:
like you can get your personalities to agree on anything.
arpi will be here all week.
try the veal
playing the dickens out of a guitar sounds really gay.
Surprisingly enough, there aren't too many people in the NJ area that give lessons in the mandolin. Undecided
