yo, how good is this album
It is of the "not at all" variety.
phew, if you liked it, i would have to question its quality.
I'm here all week
Has u2 ever done anything good? They're like a bad version of R.E.M. Who is HORRIBLE

REM had two maybe 4 or 5 good songs

U2 has had that many good albums.

Bono is am amazing performer, probably one of the top live bands in the last 20 years or so. As far as stage presence alone bono ranks alongside Mick Jagger and I mean Jagger of the 60's.
I think Joshua Tree is their best work.
disagreed, joshua tree has some good songs but War is great from beginning to end.
WAR is an excellent album, and it's better than Joshua Tree IMO - though JT is very good as well.
WAR
1. Sunday Bloody Sunday
2. Seconds
3. New Year's Day
4. Like A Song...
5. Drowning Man
6. The Refugee
7. Two Hearts Beat As One
8. Red Light
9. Surrender
10. '40'

Joshua Tree
1. Where The Streets Have No Name
2. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
3. With Or Without You
4. Bullet The Blue Sky
5. Running To Stand Still
6. Red Hill Mining Town
7. In God's Country
8. Trip Through Your Wires
9. One Tree Hill
10. Exit
11. Mothers Of The Disappeared

Really close, I think the best song on either album is Where The Streets Have No Name. I like War because its way before they were consciously trying to recreate themselves, which did practically did every album after Joshua Tree.
I saw them live. They walked out of a giant lemon spaceship thingy.

It was a little weird.
War is their best, I would place Achtung Baby before Joshua Tree though.

"One" is my favorite song.
I like very many U2 songs but their albums as a whole (the ones i've heard including War) were nothing special IMO.
dont be trashtalking R.E.M.!!!!
both bands suck.

And now U2 has also completely sold out.

word, I like the rawer sound in War, the later albums seem a little too polished.
I agree War has a less polished sound, which I like. Joshua Tree is fairly well produced. "One" is my favorite U2 song as well. Its a religious experience heard live.
i'll probably never get to see them :24:
