Can someone recommend a good spec under $2000?

I want the fastest processor out and the best video card. I also want a 200 gig HD and alot of RAM. Can this be done for under 2k?
I think so, handsome. I got 39 gigs and all the bells and whistles two years ago for 2 grand.
the best video card is gonna run you $500...the CPU might be up there too.

Dude, get a Dell.
Do you think you are up to the task? It is a zen after all.
That's what I've got. I've had some trouble with it, going through something right now with the CD/DVD... I've had Dell here three times in two years. Once they replaced the hard drive, once they replaced the CD burner. Beware Dell.
No need to get the best video card, which right now is the radeon 9800 xt ($500), which is only 10% better than the 9800 Pro which you can grab for $230. i highly doubt that that 10% is worth $270 of your hard earned gigging, unless of course, you are retarded.
I love my Dell(s).
For real? What are you running with it? Windows?
i like my dell too.
pentium4 2ghz
768 mb ram
60+120 gig HDs
shitty ass geforce4 mx420 64 mb vid card.

replacing that piece of shit with a 9800 pro soon
I've got a 9700 pro and I love it - it can be OC'ed to 9800 specs too but I haven't had the need to do that yet.
Damn. Yours is a Maserati
I might be looking at a Dell or something like that soon. I've currently taken up video editing of my Tivo stuff and I'm gonna need 2 proccessors.
I'm getting a laptop & I'm tempted to get conversion hardware and get an iBook. If I don't, there's no reason not to get another Dell and I'm telling you my luck's not been good. Plus Windows is from hell.
Girls are stupid and should stick with Apple cause they wouldn't know what to do with a real machine.
agreed.
I'm just going to use a pencil.
I bought my PC from ABS last April for about $1300. These were the specs. Out of everything on this list, what are the first few things you'd recommend I upgrade before anything else? Me not smart.
