it was tight!!!
KNICKS ADVANCE!!
Next year, mark my words.

Knicks win 50 and Marbury wins mvp.
I won 40 betting against them.

That's how much I loath them after so many years of false hope.
what chump bet on the Knicks?
Two chumps!

They both said the same thing Cooper did... Knicks will take game 4.

I've never been more confident placing a bet.
The Knicks will be as mediocre as the Celtics. Management of both just fucking suck.
who would you kill first, Ainge or Isiah?
i'll give some credit to isiah for drafting fred jones
his draft history isn't that bad. the rest of the time he sucks
Ainge gave away Walker
Then he made a trade to be just good enough to make the playoffs rather than get in the lottery.

He's real bad but I don't know if he's as bad as the previous people who gave away Joe Johnson, who took Denver's 1st round pick two years ago, drafted a guy that no one wanted (Kedrick Brown), then gave him away, when if they had held that pick over, they would have had Denver's pick last year (now who did Denver pick last year??) instead, and I don't think that anyone expected Denver to actually IMPROVE from year over year.

They also gave away Chauncey Billups like a month into his rookie season, traded away Kenny Anderson to take a maximum contract with extra years in Vin Paxil Poppin Chub Chub.

I don't know how bad Isiah has ruined his team
Quote:Here's the kicker: Thanks to Isiah, this same Knicks team will return intact next season. And the year after that. They don't have any choice. Everyone makes big money. The only tradeable commodity on the team is Marbury, heading into his ninth year, and he isn't going anywhere. So Knick fans will spend two more seasons being tantalized by a potential superstar, someone who should be one of the better players in the league, but he isn't, and there really isn't a definable reason why.

Did Isiah screw the Knicks for the foreseeable future? I think so. It's a not-quite-a-playoff-team led by a not-quite-a-superstar, with no real way of turning things around in the next three years, and the wrong guy calling the shots to boot. Not exactly a recipe for success. Then again, you could say the same thing about the Celtics.

In fact, I think I just did.
isiah didn't screw them too bad because the knicks were going to be fucked in the salary cap for the next 3-4 years anyway. just now they have even less room to improve, and barring any big trades, that don't seem to likely right now, this is going to be the same team they have for a while.
