- Arpikarhu - 11-04-2004 oh, right, its a reference that went over my head. thats it. i see now. how could i have been so blind. oh gee golly gee whiz. - GonzoStyle - 11-04-2004 sleeper got it, whatever you wanna go ahead and assume is your business, you are always right in your own little world. - Mad - 11-04-2004 Senility does that to a person. Look at me. - Arpikarhu - 11-04-2004 GonzoStyle Wrote:sleeper got it, whatever you wanna go ahead and assume is your business, you are always right in your own little world.guess you got me there. you win like always. i am no match for your intellect. - GonzoStyle - 11-04-2004 You are officially off my chanukkah list!!! - The Sleeper - 11-04-2004 <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://chrisevans3d.com/files/iq.htm">http://chrisevans3d.com/files/iq.htm</a><!-- m --> - GonzoStyle - 11-04-2004 The Sleeper Wrote:<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://chrisevans3d.com/files/iq.htm">http://chrisevans3d.com/files/iq.htm</a><!-- m -->I don't think that's overly surprising but it's still pretty sad. - The Sleeper - 11-04-2004 The republicans are geniuses. they tricked a bunch of dumb fucks into voting against their own interests in the name of "moral values". The democrats need to take notes - GonzoStyle - 11-04-2004 You think the osama tape being released so close to the election had an influence? I mentioned it in the Osama tape thread, would it hurt bush or kerry? Would it remind people that Osama is still out there and that the man who actually did attack us has yet to be captured throughout bush's adminstration. Or would it remind people that Kerry seemed soft on the war and just bring back that fear of being attacked by this man again and that Bush while just lacking in everything was just the crazy texan we needed to protect us. That sided with the whole moral issue ofcourse which unfortunatly most people who actually did vote sided with Bush on his views. - The Sleeper - 11-04-2004 I think in Ohio especially, everyone was psyched to vote to ban gay marriage and came out in droves to do it. That on top of everyone believing that bush is the savior of freedom against the evil brown people. - Mad - 11-04-2004 Wouldn't surprise me, seeing that OBL was a CIA asset. I honestly didn't think the Moral issue would trump the economy, terrorism/war, enviorment, etc. They got them on the tickets and had the final sway in the voters minds. - HedCold - 11-04-2004 wasn't the whole IQ list thing debunked? i think someone made it sometime after the 2000 election - GonzoStyle - 11-04-2004 I don't think its too far off from reality though the accuracy ofcourse can be debated since not everyone has taken an IQ test, nor can you really prove what they scored at the time they are asked. - Galt - 11-04-2004 probably, but it makes the point easier. Much like the presidential IQ fraud. And Kerry is just as against gay rights as Bush. And they are both 100% wrong. - The Sleeper - 11-04-2004 Most people in the red states bought that Kerry was the most liberal senator and likes aborting babies and taking global tests so it really doesn't matter what his actual position was. And Kerry didn't support any amendment to ban gay marriage. - GonzoStyle - 11-04-2004 Galt Wrote:probably, but it makes the point easier. Much like the presidential IQ fraud.Well thats the point of him running such a horrible campaign, he and bush really aren't that much different when it came down to it but you knew where Bush stood. Kerry was actually for civil unions though he is against gay marriage and doesn't agree with it. Bush is just so in your face about how much he's against it, he wants to put it in the constitution, his extremes are so out there that theres no way you can't know his positions wether you agree with them or not. - Galt - 11-04-2004 The Sleeper Wrote:Most people in the red states bought that Kerry was the most liberal senator and likes aborting babies and taking global tests so it really doesn't matter what his actual position was. People are gullible. They believe whatever they are told if they are predisposed to believe it. - GonzoStyle - 11-04-2004 excecutions for abortion doctors!! - HedCold - 11-04-2004 kerry wanted to leave marriage as a state decision, bush wants/wanted a whole new amendment for it |
