I give the Pot episode a positive review, it was weird but it was the good weird.

- Cunt-Twat - 04-08-2002

this weeks simpsons was fucking great. high homer = more funny!

- IkeaBoy - 04-22-2002

I don't know how to explain it but like 22 seconds made up for tonight's entire episode. It was very bad, like worse than usual but the "They'll never stop the Simpsons" (over Homer jumping a shark) and the apology almost made it worth watching.

Futurama was still better though.

- Cunt-Twat - 04-22-2002

ikea, i beg to differ, i found the simpons funny tonight. i never got into futurama, but malcom is fucking hysterical!!

- HedCold - 04-22-2002

maybe i'm just easily amused, but lately i've been finding the simpsons funny in a dumb way.

- fbd - 04-22-2002

the episode tonight was funny, but most people downplay it because it was a clip show.think of the clips they showed...funny episodes that you'd watch if they were on tv in their entirety.today could have been better, but think about the recent seasons...old shows were better

- Cunt-Twat - 04-28-2002

tonight at 8:00, don't forget. i'm not sure if it's a new one or not, but the only way to know is if we watch it!!!!

- IkeaBoy - 04-28-2002

...or ask me. Bart is inspired by Stan Lee to write a comic strip based on his life hence the Incredible Homer promos airing. and I still thought the clip show was lame, sure they were good clips but I'd prefer good original episode than uninspired old gags.

- Cunt-Twat - 04-28-2002

awe, come on ikea, the simpsons are still entertaining. i'll agree they're not laugh-out-load, but they still give me a chuckle {Smile}

- IkeaBoy - 04-28-2002

I still watch them but I just don't think they're great anymore. Some episodes do get me do laugh and I'll admit if the show is funny or funny parts but a lot of the episodes just get me to fold my arms and sigh more often than chuckle

- Cunt-Twat - 04-28-2002

you're just a harsh critic!

- IkeaBoy - 04-28-2002

I'm not a harsh critic, I just wish for goodness in what I devote my time to viewing.

- Cunt-Twat - 04-29-2002

ika, i thought the simpsons was very funny tonight. it definitely had me laughing tonight. come on, "angry dad" briliant!!!!

- IkeaBoy - 04-29-2002

I thought it was eh. The Stan Lee parts were super-funny but Homer getting angry is too overdone. Internet companies closing down is old news. I did laugh a couple of times but it wasn't anything worth...anything.

I just read this interview with Matt Groening here and I found it interesting. It's nice to see that he can admit that they're running out of ideas and how you get the feeling that he wishes the show to end. I'm kind of pissed that they'll be no new Futuramas next season as FOX didn't order a new season since that's the show Groening seems to like more right now, and for the past couple of seasons it has been better than The Simpsons. Anyway, I found it an interesting read

- Hybrid - 04-30-2002

the fight between groundskeeper willy and groundskeeper shamus was great.

- HedCold - 04-30-2002

i never found futurama that funny. i still think the simpsons are better. my question is why is king of the hill still on?

- IkeaBoy - 05-13-2002

Simpsosn tonight was actually pretty good. Wasn't great by any stretch but it had a couple laughs

- IkeaBoy - 05-23-2002

Wow- that was an awesome finale with Homer and Springshield even though it was a virtual ripoff of the Catburglar concept but that was a funny episode and the plot worked again. I would have liked another 10, 15 minutes for that one.

Huh? it's Thursday
