why is this page in HD widescreen format?

im in the market for a plasma myself.

Hitachi makes best TVs period.

I have an "old" big screen 53" Hitachi Ultravision. I LOVE it. But, when I move, I am going to step up to the Plasma.

not as much as i wanted, with is a rarity. Luckily I was steered correctly by the 6th Ave owner, who didn't care what I bought as long I was a happy customer...which isn't always the case with sales. I checked after the fact, and saw that Panasonic and Hitachi were very comparable, and well-reviewed (as far as HD tvs go..none get past an 8.4 out of 10). Cnet was a resource. Consumer Reports was another. Alot of people are buying cheaper LCDs being thrown thru Costco and other price clubs...but not worth it. I was set on getting a name brand b/c I have no trust in newcomers in this technology. So for $1999 (tv was $1498, plus cheap dvd player, plus tax, plus a 4 year warranty that runs after Hitachi's one year) i thought we did pretty well. Even online, I couldn't get a better deal on it. However, I'd say if you get a good price, I'd shoot for Panasonic first. http://cnet.nytimes.com/Panasonic_TH_50 ... =pdtl-list

The best I think is Pioneer, but expensive:

Mine:

sadly the UFC ppvs will NOT be on the plasma.

its in our bedroom b/c the main TV is so fuckin heavy and no room in the Entertainment unit in the livingroom. we have a wall-o-tv in the our bedroom...its fuckin great.

- GonzoStyle - 10-24-2006

so what you really sayin is that we're not good enough for your bedroom, is that it?

- Gooch - 10-24-2006

well, you'd fit in the bed better now.

but yeah.

i had hoped, when we bought it, we could simply move it on special nights where we had peeps over. But, despite being able to hang on a wall...its fuckin heavy and cumbersome to move. I'd never put into my wall unless it was bolted thru something solid.

- GonzoStyle - 10-24-2006

bolt it through your cock for all I care, I want plasma!

- Gooch - 10-24-2006

you'll get nothing, AND LIKE IT!

- GonzoStyle - 10-24-2006

I'm bringing over some boxing dvds and watching them in the bedroom.
