half assed might not have been the right term, but this is really a stupid way of doing things, since there are 4573 possible answers from 229 people. it would make more sense to do it in a two part, right now everybody submitt what they think is the best, and the 5 or 6 threads that get a good number of votes be nominated for a final. if you leave it this way, the votes are thread too thin and the winner will have 5 or 6 votes total

I give up. We can do no right in your (the members, not just 1 person) eyes. Everytime we do something we get asked "why didn't you do it this way" or "why did you do this" or "why didn't you do that". Why can't what we do just be appreciated once in a while?
It seems as though lately we shouldn't even bother doing anything. Its a waste of time most of the time.
