I used to have a Christmas Money account where I would put in $5 a week. And then 2 weeks before Christmas I would withdrawl and have like 300 bucks. :thumbs-up:

i think what we have proven here today is that despite all of his classes,Galt doesnt know shit about how to read the rates page of the financial section of a newspaper, doesnt have a money market account, and doesnt understand the connection between the fed dropping the prime rate and interest rates on consumer bank accounts.

The fact still remains that no matter how much you want to whine, money markets pay better interest than savings accounts.
There's no need to have that much money in a savings account.
The only money I have in my savings account is just so I can go to the ATM. When it starts to get low, I just write a check against my money market, and I'm all set.

I'm pretty sure I have most of my money in a money market account. I think it was pretty much assumed when i said savings I meant all the money you keep in the bank. You are all a bunch of nit-pickers
