i think im going to trade driver now that javon walker went down, they're going to start paying more attention to driver now that he's gone.

- Keyser Soze - 10-21-2004

two possible trades, looking for opinions...

rattay, moore, and rod smith for barlow, driver, and mccardell

Vick, Barlow, Toomer for Bulger, Davis and Roy Williams

now, my team currently looks like this. i think i might be better off not making any deals

vick, droughns, mcallister, horn, driver, jerramy stevens, vinetieri, chargers
bench: barlow, steven jackson, aaron stecker, mccardell, stokley, toomer, eric johnson

- Galt - 10-21-2004

I'd take the Moore side and the Davis side.

- Keyser Soze - 10-22-2004

you think moore owns that starting spot now?

- Rooner - 10-22-2004

Tice said he is starting. Id make the second trade and fuck that first one.

- Bloody Anus - 10-22-2004

A. Green for C. Dillon/S. Moss?

My 1-5 team:
QB Pennington
RB A.Green/K.Barlow
WR Mason/Stallworth
TE F.Jones
K J. Brown
D Jacksonville
Bn Warner, D.Rhodes, McCareins, R.Gardner

I initially rejected the trade, but apparently I don't know shit about football so may as well get as much help as I can.

- Rooner - 10-22-2004

See if you can get Dillon and someone else, Moss is shit.

- Bloody Anus - 10-22-2004

Shit is still better than

D. Bennett
K. Robinson
J. Porter
R. Smith

, no? Once Collins starts drinking again I'll ask for Porter. He's more effective as a drunk.

- Keyser Soze - 10-22-2004

moss and ahman will improve

- Bloody Anus - 10-22-2004

Moss will, but I'm not sure about Ahman. Their defense is awful, they fall behind 3 TD's early, abandon the run, and he ends up getting just 15 carries. I have more confidence in Pennington being able to get Moss more involved than in Green Bay's secondary improving any time soon.
Then again, a Green/Barlow backfield sounds better to me than Dillon/Barlow. At 1-5 I'm thinking I make the trade and hope Pennington-Moss go nuts the rest of the way, like they are capable of doing. Of course, they play NE, Mia, Buf, Bal the next 4 weeks.
Whatever I do the Jets will find a way to fuck me, like usual

- Keyser Soze - 10-22-2004

Id take Ahman over Dillon any day of the week. Jets will be forced to pass soon with old man Martin eventually slowing down, he can't keep up this pace.

- Bloody Anus - 10-22-2004

Yeah that's great and all, but the question is:
Dillon/Barlow Mason/Moss vs. Green/Barlow Mason/3 shitty options. Of course I'd like Green and Moss, but because Barlow is shit I can't get Moss without giving up Green.

- Keyser Soze - 10-22-2004

yeah i think i would make that trade. dillon is thriving in new england and moss will improve. you're 1-5, shake things up.

- Keyser Soze - 10-22-2004

downside is you are pinning all your hopes on the jets, having pennington and moss

- Rooner - 10-22-2004

Id rather count on the Pats offense than the Packers offense.

- Keyser Soze - 10-22-2004

good point, dillon is hurt this week though and will likely share carries with faulk

- HedCold - 10-22-2004

he was "hurt" last week too, and he had his best week

- Keyser Soze - 10-22-2004

yeah, thats why injury reports have to be taken with some degree of skepticism.

galt, you know i meant Dom Davis when i said Davis, im assuming, right?

- crx girl - 10-22-2004

plus dillon reworked his contract so the more yards he gets the more money he makes.

- Keyser Soze - 10-22-2004

so its cheaper for them to split carries
