eric still won't let me watch that with him and i've never seen bambi either.

as far as most "chick flicks" go, i don't care for them much either. but a good movie where you get and emotional attachment to the tragic characters, well, it's a cathartic experience to cry watching a movie, at least for me anyway. i saw iceman cometh on broadway and i was in a totally shitty depressed mood when i saw it and it's a totally depressing story, but when it was over, i felt great, don't know why but i did...

Hey, the music was pretty good (especially when the guy with the gravely voice did "Roxanne"..that made me laugh out loud) and Nicole Kidman is all kinds of yummy. Oh yeah, and the plot was kind of good too

On another note:
Any movie where a dog dies makes me get all blubbery. Totally honest, I don't know why.
People die in movies, I could care less. Lots of heartbreak and loss, I might get a little sad, but a dog dying while trying to save its owner, like Turner & Hooch, I become a total mess.

I guess I have a stronger emotional attachment to dogs than to people. (Insert Maymay joke here). I suppose it's because dogs love unconditionally and completely unselfishly, unlike humans

OK I bumped this one up cuz I just finished watching Moulin Rouge for the first time. what a piece of shit! I can't believe this shwag was considered Academy Award caliber. The anachronistic songs made my stomach churn. It was such a predictable fairy tale. I didn't care about the characters at all.
Waste of time!

I liked it :thumbs-up:
using song lines to make new songs was funny
& what's his name is hot as balls, especially with his perfect pitch

Quote:For instance, "Say Anything" is a total chick flick, but also a good movie IMO.

i hated say anything. i will say that anytime the movie comes up. i hated that fucking movie.

i hated the leo dicaprio / claire daines version of romeo & juliette.

both times i wanted to kill the person who made me watch them.
