- Silera - 01-30-2004

a) It is not a verb.

b) It is a verb but I used it incorrectly.

c) I was just pretending to be completely retarded for my own amusement.

d) It is only a verb in North America.

you do not understand the difference between a verb and a transitive verb. dont feel bad, alot of people dont.

- IrishAlkey - 01-30-2004

I understand it perfectly, old person.

- The Sleeper - 01-30-2004

the dictionary is saying that "vacation" is a intr. verb AND has those variations as well.

- IrishAlkey - 01-30-2004

And it's saying the definition of 'vacation' when it's used as a verb is 'to take or spend a fucking vacation'.

It's not saying you have to fucking write 'take' or 'spend' in front of the word, because then the word 'vacation' wouldn't be a fucking verb, now would it?

Jesus.
